Reliant Medical Group was the first group medical practice established in Central Massachusetts, which was founded in 1929 by Dr. Michael Fallon and originally known as the Fallon Clinic.
Founded in 1929, Reliant Medical Group was the first group medical practice established in Central Massachusetts. Known as Fallon Clinic for most of its organizational history, it was renamed Reliant Medical Group in October 2011. In 2015, the medical group joined with Southboro Medical Group, further extending its service geography into the MetroWest region. In 2018 Reliant joined Optum, a national healthcare and innovation company.
With nearly 500 providers in over 30 medical specialties, including adult and pediatric primary care, radiology, cardiology, urgent care, orthopedics, surgical specialties, and podiatry, Reliant cares for over 315,000 patients in more than 20 clinical service locations.
